McAirrow BallaBalla_ht (high tech)
As you can imagine, it was absolutely necessary to make a Ballaballa pneumatic version, because a life without this would be possible, but pointless. BB_ht is 55 cm long, weighs without cartridge (300 bar Walther LP-cartridge) 800 grams and 'pushes' its 'ammunition' (caliber 3.15 ", 1500 grain), well known from the base model with an adjustable velocity of between 7 m/s and 25 m/s. But let's have a fewer look:

McAirrow BallaBalla_lt (low tech)
So now he had a very hot bath, you might think. But no, this is no joke. Some time ago, a young lady from a funfair company called me. Also in this profession one must constantly innovate in order to attract additional customers. Maybe one could shoot the balls of a traditional aunt sally instead of throwing them. If I would possibly develop an idea? But let's have a fewer look:

McAirrow Benchrest
A pity, that the first gun, I made, shot that bad. So in the past few weeks of Siberian coldness I came up with the idea, to reengineer 'FirstTry'. The result is McAirrow benchrest. Is has only the .22 Lothar Walther barrel in common with the original 'FirstTry'. You can learn more here:

McAirrow Softy No.1
Had'nt we recently Christmas? And all kids got their toys then? And is my shooting range perhaps not heated? And in winter, I am cold there. And are all my other guns too dangerous and too loud to use them in my flat ? And moreover, I sold all my muzzleloader stuff - and I am missing her very much, my little Barlow.....
Questions over questions ....
Soft No.1 is a vintage-style soft air gun made from steel, brass and olive for 0.2 gram 6mm BB's. It measures 33 cm, weighs 800 grams and is blowing the peas out of the 12 shot magazine with 70 meters per second through the barrel (<0.5 joules). You can learn more here:

McAirrow MultiMag
McAirrow Multimag? - What the hell is this? A magazine for pellets, that's nothing new, would you think. You're right. Many different kinds exist already. But what would you say if there was a magazine that would convert your single-shot bolt action rifle to a repeating rifle. Well yes, also this exists already, you would say, because you've heard of http://www.qbmags.com . But if you could use the magazine not only for a particular type of weapon and a specific caliber, but use it for most popular pneumatic single shot rifles of .177 up to .22 and above all, if it was a super fast magazine that would not have to be indexed by hand ? Well then, it probably would be something really new, you mean. McAirrow Multimag is just that: a pellet magazine for the conversion of pneumatic single-shot weapons to repeating rifles. With my magazine you can use your single-shot bolt action rifle without any changes as a super fast repeating system. And best of all: One and the same Multimag works with pellets of all shapes, lengths (up to 10mm) and caliber (.177, .20, .22). By the way, you can contact me if you also want such a MultiMag. I made a small series of MultiMags for 'test customers'. But let's have a fewer look:

McAirrow flycatcher
'McAirrow flycatcher' is not a CO2-gun, but an air SA revolver. The idea was, to use the barrel as a reservoir und to shoot through the ejector rod housing. But let us have a fewer look:

McAirrow Rusty
For a few years I worked hard and built houses and apartments to. Now a simple airgun project should show, if I still have the necessary knowledge and skills concerning air gun building or if I already got 'rusted'. You can find some details on the following page.

McAirrow Pneumatic Booster XP
You would certainly agree, that the new model has a better design and handling compared to the pump of the year 2000. The picture shows top down the closed pump, the pump without protective caps and the pump ready for use with connected pressure tank and compressed air bottle. To fill your tank, you simply have to turn the grip five times to the left and to the right. That's all.

McAirrow HowStuffworks

One of these past Christmas days I went to my attic to see what I would find there. And I found this little treasure, a rusty antique reminding me of these ancient outsidelocks from the 17. century. However, this specimen seems to be made even of less parts and does not need any levers inside. The movable lock parts are fixed visibly outside. A closer examination lets us identify some interesting Details .

Of course, what you read above was a made-up story.

October 2003:

McAirrow AirTwin
I am not really sure that the world has been waiting for such a twin barrelled pneumatic gun. I just wanted to make a slim, nice hunting gun with two (break) barrels in .22 and .177. Now 'AirTwin' with its beautiful grained walnut stock is one of my favorites. The butt contains the air reservoir with a quick filling valve . You break the barrels (System is cocked now), place a .177 and a .22 pellet and close the system. Now you are ready to shoot with around 25 Joule at the front trigger (.177 Schulz-pellets with 320 m/s) and with around 45 Joule (.22 Baracudas with 250 m/s) at the rear trigger. One really difficult problem to solve was synchronizing the two barrels. AirTwin is 105 cm long and weighs 4 Kg. Here you find some further details.

McAirrow 'goes West'

For a few years I have owned an excellent Career 707. A few disadvantages (expensive special pellets, bad trigger, a design, that not everyone likes) let me to think of my own underlever-solution. The alternative fun gun of another German maker works with all the disadvantages of Co2 and is not really precise: They advertise their product with a circle of 15 mm on a distance of only 10 Meter. My 'low-loader' is about 103 cm long and weighs 4 kg. The stock is made of superb rosewood. I placed the Walther match barrel below the 'wrong' barrel (=reservoir). You see a very precise cal. 177 fun gun with a quite simple mild steel action and with about 20 joules of energy. Here you find some further details.

Mixed
items
During the last few months were close to vacation from pneumatics. I spent some time with a bit of inlay-work, with making a few reading glasses, a (small) framehouse, a few knifes and fingerrings. Here you find some further details.

January 2003:

McAirrow chipmunk
is lilliput long rifle's (see below) youngest son. Actually, it is a mixture of an old German 'Jaegerbuechse' without a cock, the famous American long rifle and a modern pneumatic gun. This 'low-loader' is about 105 cm long and weighs 3 kg. The stock is made of old wood remains (let's protect the rain forest) and contains visible the 'wrong' barrel (=reservoir) and below unvisible the real barrel and the action. You see a very precise cal. 22 hunting rifle with about 50 to 70 Joules of energy . Here you find some further details.

October 2002:

McAirrow zoo
During the last weeks I was concerned about the old man shooting discipline (ft) and these poor knockover-targets. For practice in my back yard, I made some steel-animals with a special mechanism. Here you find some details.

Mixed items
Back to the roots. The last few months I have worked on several more or less old second hand rifles I bought for a few EURO (a kind of money everone has to use now). For a couple of months I have also had a lot of fun with this old man shooting discipline (You know, as grandfathers we are almost unable to move. So we sit in the field in a relaxed way and shoot on poor steel-animals that cannot move either). This is why I made a Weihrauch HW97K McAirrow special (foreground of the picture). The whole system can move on rails in the front part of a well fitting match-stock I made. Let's say, it is a kind of WEIHRAUCH HW97K MCAIRROW AIRKING FT-MATCH
. Here you find some details, also about my knockover target with revival function.

June 2002:

McAirrow Match1
This match rifle is not really beautiful in its more or less conventional design. It is about 100 cm long and weighs 5.3 kg inkl. scope. Nevertheless, for every real enthusiast it contains features which are, which are not part of other match rifles: Adjustable regulator, adjustable main spring for a pellet energy between 4 and 16 Joule and a exchangeable air volume behind the regulator. Here you find a description of these details.

May 2002:

McAirrow Mach_1.1
This match rifle in an old, but for pneumatics new design is about 108 cm long and weighs 4,8 kg inkl. Simmons scope. Its barrel contains the real .177 barrel and the 200 ccm reservoir. Depending on the kind of pellets and the adjustment of energy it contains 25 to 60 shots (V0 can be set from 300 to 370 m/s measured with AirArms pellets). I much like the dark rosewood stock of this gun, which is my favorite one at the moment. Here you find some more photos of the details.
